LUCKY CHARMS MILKSHAKE

This Lucky Charms Milkshake will remind you of your childhood and the milk at the end of the cereal bowl. This breakfast shake is a great quick snack or easy dessert idea.

I have a confession to make. I’m not really much of a cereal person. I think it’s safe to say I never really have been….although there was a time in my life when certain cereals held a certain allure. Growing up, our cereal choices mainly consisted of Cheerios, Wheaties, Crispix, Shredded Wheat……you get the picture. Healthy. Except for two days a week – Tuesdays and Saturdays. Those were our official “sugar cereal” days, and on those days our choices looked more like Apple Jacks, Trix, Frosted Flakes, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cookie Crisp….!!! Needless to say, we all looked forward to Tuesdays and Saturdays!

These days, though? You’d be hard pressed to find me eating a bowl of cereal…..even if it’s of the “sugar cereal” variety. I’m not sure if it’s because of my strong love of coffee and the fact that cereal and coffee don’t really mesh…..or if it’s because I’m really just not a fan of eating my breakfast with a spoon…..but whatever it is, I’d pass on cereal most any day of the week. What can I say? It’s just not my thing!

Lucky Charms Milkshake – A delicious treat

On the flip side, there’s Jorden, who will eat cereal in place of dessert. And my kids, who raid the cabinet for cereal every morning and can polish off a box between them in no time flat! Especially if it’s something like Lucky Charms. I have to admit – I have fond childhood memories of Lucky Charms…..of saving all the marshmallows until the very end…..and then drinking the sweet marshmallow milk at the bottom of the bowl. If you’re going to eat cereal, Lucky Charms is where it’s at. No doubt about it!

Well, since St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, I couldn’t help but buy a box of them. It’s a St. Patrick’s Day MUST! And once you try these Lucky Charms Milkshakes, they’ll be a St. Patrick’s Day must, too! They’re everything you love about the cereal (hint: marshmallows!!!!) in milkshake form. In fact, they taste just like the delicious, sweet, marshmallowy milk at the bottom of the bowl. It’s a taste everyone can get behind……cereal lover or not! Happy St. Patrick’s Day, my friends! Enjoy!
